Will Davies has created a Memorial to Ernest Shackleton that is as innovative as it is beautiful.
Sited in the South Cloister of Westminster Abbey, the Memorial was unveiled by HRH the Princess Royal on 15th February '24, the 150th birthday of Ernest Shackleton.

We commissioned Will to produce the Shackleton Memorial at Westminster Abbey as a result of a personal recommendation. He did a fantastic job turning our ideas and wishes into an exquisite piece of artwork, providing a lasting testimony to a great man in a great place.

From the initial consultation, Will focused on hand-carving a gravestone that truly reflected the individual. He achieved this, intuitively with compassion, and with consummate skill.

We are the delighted owners of one of Will's sculptures, 'Chester' the Peregrine Falcon, which now has pride of place within our home in Australia.
The process of packing and shipping to Australia was flawless. Will personally oversaw the packing to ensure its transit was as secure as possible.
Will was simply wonderful to communicate with. His trustworthiness and genuine care for the entire process shone through.
The sculpture is an outstanding piece of art, crafted conscientiously with meticulous detail - a parallel to Will's impressive personal manner.
